From colour matching and tinting to customers’ exacting requirements, to technical support and product training, the Manor team offer advice and guidance in product choice and specification.
With many years’ of experience in coatings across a wide range of industries we can also create bespoke products for specific requirements using our on-site development lab to research and test formulations.
We offer an in-house colour matching service to all customers utilising both spectrophotometer technology and years of experience from our colourists, enabling us to match most colours requested. Our colour bank is constantly updated with new additions, as well as offering the majority of colours from popular standards including RAL, BS381C, BS4800, BS2600 and NCS.
Our “in the can” tinting service enables us to supply thousands of colours across our vast product portfolio, ranging from 5 litre packs up to hundreds of litres. Our state-of-the-art dispensing stations are continually monitored, maintained and calibrated ensuring accuracy and colour repetition. Utilising our own manufactured colourant systems gives us complete control throughout the whole process, offering customers accuracy, continuity and complete peace of mind when ordering tinted colours over longer periods of time.
Having our own on-site laboratory enables our lab team to test advances in paint technologies and raw materials. We have the facilities to conduct a wide range of paint industry tests including UV stability, salt spray resistance and impact testing, ensuring we are completely confident in the performance of our paints and coatings. We also rigorously check incoming inventory to ensure quality standards are maintained in raw materials supplied to us.
Our ability to offer customers a bespoke product solution and manufacturing facility enables us to develop new products where an “off the shelf” solution does not fit within a customer’s particular process or application limitations. Our technical development team are able to formulate products that follow both market trends and raw material advances, ensuring we provide customers with the most advanced product selections. We have worked alongside many UK leading manufacturers, finding and formulating bespoke solutions, ensuring product choice and performance remains our highest priority.
With many years of combined experience, our specialist internal technical team and external technical sales support staff offer customers advice either over the phone or via an on-site visit. Both teams are on hand to support customers with product choice and technical application techniques. Their detailed industry knowledge combined with the extensive product portfolio, the teams assist customers in making informed decisions about product choice, suitability and process configuration.

The company is highly experienced in toll manufacture and partners with several industry-leading clients offering a tailored manufacturing and packaging facility, ranging from product branding solution to more complex full manufacture, using customers own specifications and formulations.
As well as our own fleet of vehicles, we have an established network of trusted distributors across the UK, many stocking a wide range of Manor Coating Systems brands. In addition, several of our distributors offer “in can tinting” facilities enabling them to offer bespoke colour choices across our range of products.
Product Training & Demos
On and off-site product demonstrations alongside product and application training allows us to fully interact with all departments in our customers’ businesses. From product presentations and application techniques to our in-house training school at our Head Office in Shipley, we ensure both our end user client base and distribution network are able to gain knowledge from experts within the industry.
Based across our three sites, we have a dedicated customer service team and a team of field sales staff, with many years of experience and dedication in supporting the customer.
Whilst our internal team offers sales support, order processing, quotations, product availability and delivery schedules, our external sales team are available to visit your site to offer advice on product choice and pricing structures, organise demonstrations and give general technical advice and support.
